(NOTE: All of the Museum photos have been approved for posting for public view because they were photographed by me.)Carlos Oswald (1882-1971) was a Brazilian artist, educated in Europe, & son of the composer, Henrique Oswald. Carlos was a pioneer in metal engraving in Brazil in the first decades of the 1900s, but he ended up standing out as an painter, especially doing decorative panels in multiple public buildings in Rio de Janeiro.
